What is nursing?

The field of nursing primarily deals with providing physical and emotional care to patients admitted in hospitals, clinics or other healthcare institutions. Nurses serve on the frontline in healthcare, and are usually the first ones who deal with patients at scenes of accidents, or when they are brought into hospitals. In addition to looking after patients, nurses oversee the general operations at healthcare facilities, such as record keeping, quality assurance, stock management, emergency response planning and a variety of administrative duties.


How can I get the Master of Nursing?

The Masters in Nursing degree or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is offered online and on-campus by numerous colleges across the country. The minimum requirement to enroll in this program is a bachelor’s degree in nursing, or an associate degree with relevant work experience.
